Notifications

Start the long jobs, walk away, and come back to a list of what finished.

Overview

Medical summaries and drafts take minutes, not seconds. Notifications are how Ares tells you when one is done, or when one failed, without you checking back. They live behind the bell at the top right of most pages, and on your Home page.

Where to Find Them

The bell sits at the far right of the header on every list page, such as Cases, Blueprints, Library and Skills, and at the far right of the case header inside any case. The red number on it is how many you have not looked at yet. Click it to open the panel.

Your Home page shows the same list as a Notifications section, so it is the first thing you see when you sign in.

What Each Row Tells You

Rows are grouped by Today, Yesterday, Last 7 days and Older. Each one shows:

  • A status icon. A green check means it finished. A red alert means it failed, and the reason sits under the row in red. A spinner means it is still running.

  • What it is. "Medical summary", or the name of the document that was drafted. The icon tells you whether it finished or failed.

  • The case, and how long ago it finished.

Click a finished row. Ares marks it read and takes you straight to the work: a summary opens the case's Medical section, a draft opens the chat it was drafted in.

Rows that are still running are greyed out. There is nothing to open yet.

Read, Unread, and the Toggle

A new row is bold with a dot beside the time. Viewing it makes it read. The panel shows everything by default; use the All / Unread toggle at the top to see only what is new, and Mark all read to clear the count in one click.

Nothing is ever deleted. Marking a row read only removes it from the Unread view.

The Pop-Up

If a job finishes while you have Ares open, a small pop-up appears for a few seconds with a View button. You can click it or let it go. Either way the row is waiting for you in the bell, so you never lose one.

Who Gets Notified

Notifications are yours alone. Reading one does not read it for a colleague.

  • When you launch a drafting skill, you get the notification when it finishes.

  • A medical summary runs on its own after records arrive, so its notification goes to the case owner. The email for a first summary still arrives too.

Reading one does not read it for a colleague, so nobody clears your list but you.
